Government Grants Mortosis Research $300M

It is the "single largest boost to biomedical research in history" announced President Obama today whilst speaking at the National Institutes of Health in Bethesda, Maryland.

The President was there to announce the awarding of $5 billion in grants for research into cures ranging from necro-mortosis, cancer, heart diseases, and autism among other diseases.

The $787 billion economic stimulus package will provide the funds – $10 billion will be allotted for the NIH. Part of the $5 billion being formally distributed today will support the much underfunded research area of 'Zombification'.

"We're announcing that we've awarded $5 billion -- that's with a B --
in grants, through the Recovery Act, to conduct cutting-edge research
all across America, to unlock treatments to diseases that have long
plagued humanity, to save and enrich the lives of people all over the
world."

In partnership with the Infectious Diseases Society of America (IDSA)
and the NIH, the investment, is expanding the Human Genome Project,
which will help scientists to understand various forms of mortosis
and why reanimations occur. It has been announced recently that
Amcalon Corporation will benefit to the tune of $300m for advancement
of research into the much hoped for XL-6 Inhibitor. This is the
vaccine that many see as the only relevant hope for stemming the
growth of the necro-mortosis virus.

Another important byproduct of the investment into research, Obama
said, is the goal of the recovery act – to create and save jobs.

"We also know that these investments will save jobs. They'll create
new jobs: tens of thousands of jobs conducting research in
manufacturing and supplying medical equipment and building and
modernizing laboratories and research facilities all across America.
And that's also what the Recovery Act is all about. It's not just
about creating make-work jobs. It's about creating jobs that will
make a lasting difference for our future."

Before the President's speech he toured the Amcalon research and
development laboratory at the NIH, and was shown brain cells in a
microscope to see the difference between none infected living cells
versus necrotic 'undead' cells.

Flat federal funding for biomedical sciences has increased since the
Obama administration took office. the federal government first tried
to fund it in 2000, when the Clinton administration gave the NIH its
blessings to solicit grant proposals. When George W. Bush took
office, however, he limited funding to research on existing stem
lines and none of the grants Clinton authorized were distributed.
This has been seen by many as confounding and delaying the research
that may one day hold a cure for our dead rising.

Amcalon stocks rose sharply today upon the news.

Nearest bio research rival ImClonex Systems is facing mounting difficulties related to early stage tests of it's own inhibitor - Ibrex. It received no additional funding. All it's capital so far has been raised by the private sector. Today's news suggests to many watchers that the Government does not place much faith in the Ibrex vaccine.

Nasdaq rallied on good news from Amcalon's research grant for Mortosis vaccination. Shares of Amcalon were up 07%, or $1.19 to $109.51. However, ImClonex Systems (nasdaq: IMCLX) drug Ibrex, took a loss and was down off $2.52, or 2.9%, to $31.53

FACTS about Necro-Mortosis:

Mortosis is transferable through the exchange of blood, saliva or other bodily fluids, including bites.

Mortosis can be contracted through sharing of needles. Virus can be sexually transmitted (if partner is infected)

There is no known antidote at this point (Beware internet scams claiming to sell cures or inhibitors)

Mortosis is NOT airborne

Only infected people will reanimate upon death.

None infected people or people who die of natural causes do NOT rise.

If bitten, (or otherwise infected) on an arm or leg, severing the affected appendage may remove the infection, but only within the first few minutes of exposure. Burning the affected wound will only act to cortorize the wound. Not remove the infection.

Animals exposed to the Necro-Mortosis virus will become sick and die but do not reanimate. Livestock exposed must be destroyed.
 
SYMPTOMS OF CONTRACTED
NECRO-MORTOSIS
Upon infection, the exposed usually succumbs to reanimation within 4 - 48 hours. First stage symptoms feel like flu. Migraine, hot flushes, aching muscles.

Second stage is followed by severe chills, extreme lethargy, some disorientation, and a gradual slowing of the heart rate. At this point, many fall into coma or suffer stroke or heart failure. This is due to the massive shock to the bodies immune system. Necrosis and mortification follow shortly afterwards.

Reanimation can occur within minutes. Studied subjects have nearly always reanimated within the first hour of death.
