P90 Guide

Many players say this weapon is a noob weapon and is way to easy to kills with. I agree with the last part, hell its probably the easiest gun to use in Cod4. I use this weapon on almost any map but since I'm bored out of my mind and a little intoxicated I wanna write up a little guide for it. Don't mind my grammar or anything like that cus well.. I'm horrible at typing and speaking.

Ok Here it is...the Scrogglez Guide to the p90...the guide.

First Off if you don't know what the P90 is, here is a picture:

You unlock this wonderful weapon at lvl 40. After doing so much you get the silencer and after a while the Scope.

Here is the average setup for the P90 *non hardcore*

P90 (silencer)
Band.
Stopping Power
Steady Aim.

Why would you go with this set up?

Well with bandolier you have more ammo and most of the time when you are using the P90 you are what most people would call a "run and gun" player (I'll go into more detail later on in this wonderful program). You want as much ammo as you can get , so you don't run low and have to resort to using the handgun or picking up another weapon.

Stopping power should always be the choice for perk 2. I see a lot of players trying to rock slight of hand or double tap. Please for the love of god, don't use double tap. It makes your aiming horrible and you look like a fool in spec. mode. Stopping Power gives your weapon some oompf, and removes the pew-pew while double tap doesnt.

Steady Aim! STEADY AIM...STTTEEEAADDY AIM!!!

The Steady Aim perk gives you better aim when not using iron sights or what-have-you. When you are running around in CoD4, your head and body bob, and affect your aim much more than in previous Call of Duty games. This perk restores some of the stability found in other CoD games, and makes aiming while running that much easier. The p90 accuracy without using the sights is already amazing but using steady aim its a 100% chance to hit in the middle.

You don't want to use last stand or suicide nade as your final perk. It just not right with this set up.

Ok ok, lets take some questions from the crowd. *looks around* YOU...young man, what your question?

Ok scroggz, I gots myself a p90 and I copy and paste your set up but hows do I go 30 - 8 with this gun. I camp around and not see anyone at all!

Well Bobby (his name is bobby, i like that name- so go with it) its like this, when you are using the p90 you don't want to camp in the grass on the other side of map looking for some snipage. You are using an SMG and you are able to sprint and enjoy running more then the other players carrying around heavier weapons. Use that to your advantage.

Well Scrogglez : I tried to do that and All I got was raped in the face by the incoming enemy. WTF?

Look Bobby. The best way to use the p90 is not to charge the inc. team like you are a tank. Remember you don't have juggernaut. What you need to do is out-wit the other team. It's pretty simple really.

Lets take a map like overgrowth:

The Black is the BADGUYS
The Yellow is your Best Friends and Team mates
the blue...well that's you!

First off you want to see where the enemy is hiding out and where you team mates are fighting.

As you can see they are fighting to take over the bridge . A common spot to battle.

Now while they are fighting over this great zone, you can either camp out and hope to get some kills or you can TAKE CONTROL.

Instead of fighting where everyone else is- take the long way around to avoid as much fighting as possible. Not many people know you can walk across the side of the fence w/out falling off. Making it possible to jump into the house and kill all of the enemies. Gaining you a potential air-strike and UAV.

HAHA ok Scrogglez. That makes since but what if they see you? Then what? HUH!

Well Bobby, then you do what I like to say, put your tail between your legs and start running HA HA! *listens for crowd to laugh....nothing*

****

Again - I'm not the best but this is how i play when i use the p90 and I get top scores.

Just remember these rules that work with almost anything:

1. Be mindful of your radar. Watch for Red dots constantly.

2. Check the freaking floors when you enter the room, dunno how many time I've seen people die to c4 laying in plain sight.

3. Don't get upset, the more mad you are, the worse you will play.

4. Get to learn the ins and outs of maps.

5. Think

6. Outwit

7. Out Play

8. HAVE FUN

9. Numbers are fun too. Make list of what you do wrong and work to improve on your flaws.

10. If you are playing against people that are ass hammering you, leave and join a new game. Playing players that are too good doesn't get you no where BUT playing people that suck far worse then you , doesn't help you either. Try and stay with players are the skill range of you.
